Tips

  • Allow location and camera when the phone asks; check-in does not work without them.
  • Check in only when you are at the site. Check-ins far from the site are flagged to the office.
  • The app also shows your transport, housing, equipment and performance under More.
  • Tell the office if your phone or WhatsApp number changes.

On WhatsApp

If your company has connected its WhatsApp Business number (self-hosted licence), you can write or send a voice note in your own language to:

  • Ask about payday, take-home pay, tomorrow’s site, leave balance or overtime rules.
  • Apply for or cancel leave, and confirm your next shift.
  • Request a salary advance or get your monthly timesheet as Excel.
  • Send a photo of a renewed visa, passport or licence straight into your file, or ask for a copy of a document.
  • Update your phone, address, photo or password.
  • Report a medical incident, safety hazard, equipment problem, low bus card or transport need — a case opens for the right team.
