Your first week: go-live checklist

The steps that take a new company from sign-up to workers checking in and the first payroll.

A new company is live when its workers check in on site and the office approves the first week of hours. Work through this list in order — most companies finish it inside the 30-day free trial.

Before you start, gather

  • Company name, logo, brand colours, work week and pay rules.
  • Your worker list — the onboarding workbook or a CSV (name, WhatsApp number, nationality, passport and expiry, job role, pay type).
  • Sites and projects, with addresses.
  • Office staff, directors and site leaders, with their emails.

Days 1–2: set up

  • Free Pro trial started (up to 150 workers) and your company address opens.
  • Settings, branding and modules switched on — Set up your company.
  • Workers imported; spot-check 10 records — Import workers.
  • Sites and projects created; leaders assigned.
  • Users invited; two-factor login on for office staff — Invite users.
  • Off-site backup destination set and the first backup confirmed.
  • AI assistant playbook filled with your rules (on a paid plan).

Days 3–5: go live

  • First week’s shifts published — Schedule shifts.
  • Workers added the app to their phones and checked in once (leaders help on site). Hand out the worker quick guide.
  • First leave request approved end to end.
  • First week of hours reviewed and approved — Approve hours.

End of month one

  • First payroll run finalised and payslips visible to workers — Run payroll.
  • Decide your plan before the trial ends: you get a reminder 7 days and 1 day before. See Plans, free trial and limits.
