Set up your company

Company name, logo, brand colours, working week, pay rules, modules and backups.

An office admin sets the company up once. Everything here lives under Settings in the side menu, which is grouped as Overview, People, Scheduling, Time and pay, Operations, Compliance, Communication and Settings.

Company details and branding

In Settings, enter the company name and upload your logo, then pick your brand colours. Workers and staff see them across the app and in emails.

Working week and pay rules

Set your working week (for example Sunday to Thursday) and the pay rules payroll uses. These drive hours, overtime and payslips, so set them before the first payroll run.

Email sender

Choose the name emails are sent from, so invites, password resets and notices look like they come from your company.

Switch modules on or off

Under Modules, switch on what you use — shifts, payroll, transport, housing, chat, AI — and switch off what you don’t, so menus stay short. Some modules need a paid plan; during the free trial all Pro modules are open except the AI assistant.

Invite your team

Invite office staff, directors and leaders and give each the right role — see Invite users and choose roles.

Backups

Your workspace is backed up at least daily. Under Backups you can also set an off-site destination (Google Drive or FTP) and confirm the first backup succeeded. More in Your data: backups and export.

AI assistant

On a paid plan, add your company rules to the AI assistant’s playbook so it answers workers correctly — see AI assistant and playbook.
